Internet Billboards

Would you like to own an attractive, easy to read, single-page website, telling your customers at a glance about your products or services?

Internet Billboards are really starting to take off, especially where small businesses have realised that a full blown website is simply overkill.

So check out our Internet Billboards today - we think you'll impressed by their simplicity and price.

Spice up your website with a favicon

For those of you who are wondering what a favicon is, it's the little symbol that appears at the front of the URL you can see in the browser ‘address field’. A favicon can also appear in your Windows tabs and in a browser’s ‘favourites folder’. And it's a great way to promote your website or company brand...or just have some fun.

Village Internet has its very own (see below) which you should be able to see in your browser 'address field' ...

Is a favicon easy to design?

Favicons are also fairly easy to produce and will give your website that professional edge. To see what a favicon looks like, go to Google, Yahoo, the BBC and many other high-end websites, and just have a look at the symbol displayed in the browser 'address field'.

Measuring only 16 pixels (or dots) high by 16 pixels wide, the small size of a favicon means that you are limited in what you can design. However, with a bit of imagination the results can be very rewarding. And of course, not having a favicon is something of a missed advertising opportunity.

And if you need help putting one together, simply give us a call.
